A need exists to provide interpretive choreographic aids to help dancers and callers better utilize available dance programs. Potential projects include: investigating if and when a caller's "choreographic ingenuity" may begin to be detrimental to the activity; evaluating duplicated calls and call progressions within each program and recommending courses of action to the respective committees.
The members responding to a questionnaire in July 1991 directed the committee to go forward with the ADVANCED STANDARD APPLICATION booklet. Research for this project was initiated in September 1991. A decision by the Chairman also initiated a project to develop a choreographic guideline caller aid.
